Beginning Your Cruise- Finding The Right One!
Course 1 in Cruising 101- Finding how long your cruise should be:
First off, you should look at the options before booking your cruise. There are a variety of Caribbean Cruise lines, departing from New Jersey to California!
You can cruise from 3-30+ days, as well. Keep in mind the shorter 2-5 day cruises in the Caribbean/Bahamas only leave from Florida, because of the time it takes to actually get to the Caribbean Sea. If you do not want to fly or drive far, and you live on a Coast, expect a week long+ cruise. Otherwise, plan to head down to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, or Port Canaveral, which are all in Florida. Many cruises leaving New Jersey visit the Bermuda (which people make the trip back home and are not sucked in and killed by a mysterious force) either on their way there or back. Also, experts say that your first cruise should probably be a shorter 2-6 night cruise. Some people find that after the 3rd night or so, they hate being on the boat. At least on a 2-6 night cruise, it won’t be to long! Finding the number of nights is the key to your Caribbean cruise!
